I just feel Jesus so much in the room and I don't want to miss what God's doing.
I feel like I have a message this morning called God of the Breakthrough and I
really feel like I just want to jump right into some things if that's okay and I know
there's a lot of just a lot happening in the room right now.
I feel like there was a lot of people being touched earlier and I'm just going
to go right into it because I feel like that's the will of God right now.
Tomorrow's December and it was like four weeks ago was January, right?
It just went like the whole year went zoom and it was like, wow, and I think about
that and I think, man, God, what are you doing?
What's happening?
So many people in the beginning of the year had encouraging prophetic words,
things that were spoken over them, things that were spoken over their
families and maybe you didn't see them come to pass at this moment yet.
Maybe that haven't happened and we can even get to the place where we're losing
hope, right?
Because the word spoken, do you guys get up in your head, like sometimes I get up
in my head like, God, was that really you?
You know, was it somebody just meant well?
How many know there's a lot of prophecy straight from heaven?
There's also a lot of prophecy that's emotional.
Anybody know when I say that?
I'm not trying to be critical but sometimes we speak out of our emotions
because that's what we want.
It wasn't necessarily a word from the Lord.
It was more like this is our desire.
We were speaking that but I want to encourage you in this.
Paul told Timothy, war a good warfare with the prophecies that have been spoken over
you.
Does anybody know what that means?
That means those things we come back and actually remind God what he said and you
know why we remind God what he said?
Not because he forgot but because it builds faith in our own heart.
God didn't forget what he said.
How many know God will do what he said he'd do?
God is who he said he is and he'll do what he said he'd do and I think about that is
that sometimes we begin to allow like the challenges of life to overcome maybe the
word of the Lord but I hold this book in my hand and here's the word that the Lord
was thumping my heart with hope happens here.
I'm going to say that again.
Hope happens here.
All right, I need to talk to you.
Yeah.
A little bit ago we just laid hands on a bunch of people.
We were praying for people.
Lots of folks praying.
I feel like that happens.
Can I, I'm going to say a couple of things.
This is why we come together.
This is what we need right here.
We can come together for a good word and somebody can preach a great message.
Pastor Matt does an amazing job.
He's not feeling real well this morning.
You can pray for him.
Him and Uriah were up all night so pray for both of them.
They're very, man they don't get much closer to my heart than those guys but
here's where we're at.
Pastor Matt can preach an amazing word and he does but the truth of the matter is you
can go on YouTube and get amazing words.
There's amazing teaching all over YouTube, right, because I'm there.
No, I'm just kidding.
I'm just messing.
I don't know too many that do better than Andrew and Leah.
These guys do such an amazing job of worship and I'm super, super blessed and
that girl sings and I just want to stop and just melt and it's just amazing
because here's the deal.
They can do amazing but you can play Maverick City music or Bethel music or any
other stuff on YouTube and there's great music out there but it's not about the
word and it's not about the music.
You know why we really come together?
Here's what we really need, presence because I can still feel the presence of
God in my living room but not like we can when we're in a corporate place and that's
an important reason for coming together.
The second thing is like the ministry that took place just a little bit ago,
you can't have that kind of ministry on your YouTube.
They can say we're going to pray for you, stretch your hand toward the TV or
whatever I'm glad for all that.
I'm glad for technology and all this stuff but it ain't nothing like somebody being
right there laying hands on you praying with you.
Come on and then the other thing is the hugs, the community that we're able to
grab from one another.
Being together, having community, those are reasons that we come together in
the Lord's house.
Everybody got this?
And then here's what I believe.
I believe if I can understand scripture, Hebrews 10 25 says we come together,
don't forsake the assembling of yourselves together, the matter of some is,
but what you say exhorting one another, there's a place where we lift up and
encourage each other in the Lord, right?
Exhorting one another.
Then he says what?
Even so much the more as you see the day approaching.
He's talking about the day of the Lord and we lift one another up, encourage one
another, pray for one another, minister to one another in the presence of
God like we're feeling here.
We should be encouraged and lifted up.
When I believe the Lord was speaking to me, and this was probably three weeks ago
I guess when I knew I was preaching this morning and the Lord began to speak to me
this word, the God of the breakthrough is moving on your behalf.
The God of the breakthrough is moving on your behalf.
Don't allow the circumstances of life to overrule the promises of God in your life.
Don't allow the challenges that you might be walking through today to keep you from
the promises he made to you yesterday.
How many know?
We might have to walk through some challenges, but I'm going to tell you
something.
If I'm coming through the valley, I'm getting refined in that valley.
If I'm coming through the fire, I'm coming out better, stronger,
sharper, and wiser.
If I'm coming through, I'm bringing something out with me.
And I just believe the God of the breakthrough is moving on your behalf.
And I felt like the Lord said, some of you that had promises earlier in
the year and then hope began to wane and hope began to fade.
Man, I'm going to hear to tell you something.
Get your hopes up, get your hopes high and start to believe God.
Because here's what I heard the Lord say.
Many of you will have your breakthrough before the calendar year ends.
We're going to go out and we're going to finish strong.
We're going to finish well.
We're going to purpose in our heart, man.
Don't waver.
Don't lose hope.
Don't give up.
Don't go off the path, but stay steadfast and focused because the God of the
breakthrough is moving on your behalf.
I feel that.
Man, I feel that.
If I had hair, it'd be standing up.
That's what would happen.
I just feel Jesus in the room right now.
Turn with me if you would because I'm going to jump right into this.
I feel Jesus is in the room and I don't know, I'm just feeling pretty strong.
Second Samuel 5, 17 to 20.
I'm going to kind of preach through this rather quickly, but listen.
David's been anointed king.
He's been appointed in Hebrew and then in Jerusalem.
And it says, now when the Philistines heard that they had anointed David king
over Israel, right, all the Philistines went up to search for David.
Remember that the Philistines were antagonists.
They were the enemies against David.
You guys know this, right?
Watch, his enemies are coming against him.
And David heard of it and he went down to the stronghold, okay?
The stronghold would have been a cave in the mountains.
I won't go into the history of that.
The Philistines also went and deployed themselves in the valley of Rephaim.
Everybody see that word Rephaim, right?
You can study this.
Go on Blue Letter Bible.
You can find it.
It's there.
You can go through several commentaries.
The valley of Rephaim is also translated the valley of giants.
Everybody understand what I just said?
Where did the Philistines show up?
In the valley of giants.
I want to talk to you about that in just a minute.
The Philistines went and deployed themselves in the valley of Rephaim.
So David acquired of the Lord, right, saying, shall I go up against the
Philistines?
Will you deliver them into my hand?
And the Lord said to David, go up for I will doubtless deliver the Philistines
into So David went to Baal-Perezim and defeated them there.
And he said, the Lord has broken through my enemies before me like a breakthrough
of water.
Therefore he called the name of that place Baal-Perezim.
Baal-Perezim means the Lord of the breakthrough.
God broke through.
Listen to me.
Where did God break through?
Actually in the valley of the giants.
So you know what that tells me?
God's not intimidated by the giants that might have shown up to against you.
My God is able to break through the giant of cancer.
He's able to break through the giant of marital challenges.
He's able to break through every challenge that comes your way.
Why?
Because he's the God of the breakthrough.
But I want you to hear what he actually said.
He said he broke through like water.
I pictured myself, because I'm reading this and I'm studying this, and I pictured
myself standing at the beach out about maybe 20 feet into the water and these big
waves were coming.
Try to stop one.
Get your five biggest friends and try to stop one.
I don't care how many guys you got with you, you ain't gonna stop that wave from
breaking through.
And I saw God saying, that's like when I show up, I don't care how many are
standing against me, I'm gonna break through.
I'm gonna break through whatever challenges you.
I'm gonna break through whatever's trying to break you.
God, come on.
God's about to break through the things that were trying to break you.
You are not coming out broken.
You're coming out healed.
You are not coming out defeated.
You are coming out victorious.
God of the breakthrough is showing up on your behalf.
I believe it with all my heart.
There's some things that are just stirring in me.
Man, I need to, I got so many thoughts in my head.
Go to 2 Chronicles chapter 20.
Some of you that are theologians, you know right where I'm going right now.
Let me talk to you about Jehoshaphat.
Chapter 20 verse 1, it happened after this.
I don't have time to talk about it.
Right?
That the people of Moab and the people of Ammon and others with them besides the
Ammonites came to battle against Jehoshaphat.
Right?
Let me tell you, the alien nations are starting to surround us.
There's actually gonna be five alien nations that are surrounding the
Israelites.
Jehoshaphat is leading them in their battle.
He's their king.
And now watch what happens because it's important you see this.
Right?
They came against the, to battle against Jehoshaphat.
And some came and told Jehoshaphat saying, a great multitude is coming against you
from beyond the sea, from Syria.
They're in Hazes on Tamar, which is in Getty.
And Jehoshaphat feared, right, because they're being surrounded.
And he set himself to seek the Lord and proclaim to fast throughout all of Judah.
Let me tell you what happens.
He said, oh my goodness, we're surrounded on every side and it don't look good.
And this thing started to grip him.
You know, the first thing he did, sought the Lord.
When fear tries to grip you, what do you do?
Seek the Lord.
Come on.
He didn't just seek the Lord.
He got people seeking the Lord with him to proclaim to fast and told them,
let's fast, let's pray.
Come on.
You know what?
We need to do more fasting in the body of Christ.
We're pretty good at feasting.
We probably ought to get good at fasting.
But in the midst of that, he began to seek the Lord.
Let me read it.
Can I just tell you what's going on, right?
He prays this beautiful prayer.
I don't have time to read it.
You could read it on your own.
But the next several verses are beautiful prayer.
Go to verse 12.
He finishes up his prayer.
Oh, our God, will you not judge them for we have no power against this great
multitude that's coming against us?
Nor do we know what to do, but our eyes are upon you.
Come on.
Can I talk to somebody?
He said, Lord, I don't have the plan.
Lord, I don't have an idea even of which way to turn.
I don't know what we ought to do.
But one thing we can do, we can keep our eyes upon you, God.
Can I talk to somebody and tell you that for years, I know what I did.
I gave God my plan and asked him to bless it.
And now I found out I don't need God to bless my plan.
I need to hear what God's plan is and then follow him.
I don't think I have the right to tell God how to do it and how to fix it.
I just got to yield to the goodness of God and believe that my God loves me enough
that his plan is good enough.
Oh, I feel like preaching in the house this morning.
Come on, keep reading, keep reading because I got only two more hours.
It's good stuff.
I like it.
Look at verse 13.
Now all Judah with their little ones, their wives, their children stood before
the Lord.
And the spirit of the Lord came upon Jehaziel, the son of Zechariah,
the son of Baniah, the son of Jael, the son of Mataniah, a Levite of the sons
of Asaph in the midst of the assembly.
And he said, listen, all of you of Judah and all you inhabitants of Jerusalem and
you, King Jehoshaphat, thus says the Lord to you, don't be afraid nor dismayed
because of this great multitude, for the battle's not yours, it's God's.
I'm here to somebody.
You're not here to fight a fight.
The only fight that you're ever called to in the Bible, there's only one fight.
You are not called to fight the devil.
You are not called to fight evil.
You are not called to fight the darkness.
You're called to fight the good fight of faith.
My goodness.
Why?
Because God already fought those battles and won.
Pastor, we have to fight the darkness.
No, we don't.
We just be the light.
We have to fight evil.
No, we just be goodness and let the goodness of God manifest in our life.
Jesus already fought the battle and he won.
And our job is to come into agreement with what heaven's already said about every
situation.
He said, the battle's not yours, it's God's.
Watch what happens.
Tomorrow, go down against them.
They'll surely come up by the ascent of Ziz.
And you'll find them at the end of the brook in the wilderness of Jeruul.
He told them where the enemy was.
He said, you'll not need to fight in this battle.
Position yourself, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord who is
with you.
Oh, Judah and Jerusalem, do not fear, be dismayed.
Tomorrow, go out against them, for the Lord is with you.
Oh, look at your neighbor.
Tell them the Lord is with you.
Come on, the Lord is with you.
Oh, slap them.
They didn't hear you.
No, I'm just kidding.
Don't slap them.
Okay.
But here's the reality, man.
We got to know.
Can I talk to somebody today?
You got to decide whether God's with you or not.
You got to decide, is he with me or not?
Come on.
If you believe he's with you, even when he doesn't feel like he, come on.
Sometimes when you're in the heat of the battle, you're like, God, where are you?
Come on, I promise you.
He's as close to you in the heat of the battle as he is in the top of the victory.
He's as much with you in the valley as he is on the mountain.
He don't change.
But you don't understand, pastor, I messed up.
So you think God quit loving you?
Matter of fact, if you can point out anybody in this room that hasn't messed up
at some point or another, we'll canonize them right now.
Come on.
Here's the deal.
It ain't about how many times you fall down.
It's about how many times you get back up.
Sometimes you just gotta get back up, shake your side.
Can I tell you this?
When you miss the mark, we call that sin.
When you miss the mark, when you sin, it does not change God's mind about you.
It changes your mind about God.
Because you thought when you were doing it right, he loved you, but when you sinned,
then he quit loving you.
He didn't quit loving you.
He's not more distant from you.
You just gotta repent and keep moving forward.
I'm preaching right now to somebody.
It's time to shake it off and keep going, man.
The God of the breakthrough is moving on your behalf.
Watch what happens.
He told them where the enemy was.
Told them they wouldn't even have to fight.
That's a pretty big deal.
When you're surrounded by five alien nations and you don't have to fight,
that's a pretty good day.
Can I tell you something?
Some of you have been surrounded by some demons for a long time.
It's not about you fighting.
It's about you yielding.
And I don't mean yielding to the demons.
I mean yielding to God.
It's not the degree of your fight.
It's the degree of your surrender that's gonna win the battle.
That's a good word.
Watch what happens because this gets really strong.
Watch what he says.
I like this stuff a lot.
Jehoshaphat bowed his head with his face to the ground and all of Judah with him.
And the inhabitants of Jerusalem bowed before the Lord.
What happened?
Worshiping the Lord.
What?
In the middle of this mess, they're worshiping?
Yeah.
You wanna get out of your mess?
Worship.
But I wanna say this and I'm gonna say this real strong.
You don't worship God for what he can do.
You worship God for who he is.
It's not about worshiping God because you're in trouble and you need him to get
you out of trouble.
You worship God because he's God.
Come on.
You worship God for who he is.
Watch what happens.
Then the Levites of the children of the Koathites and the children of the
Koathites stood up to praise the Lord God of Israel with the voices loud and high.
Surrounded by the enemy.
What are they doing?
Worshiping.
And they're getting loud.
I had a lady tell me she didn't like to come to a church like ours because we were
too loud.
All your worship makes me nervous.
I said, don't get near me in heaven.
You'll have a nervous breakdown, honey.
I'm gonna go nuts.
Glory.
They worship loud and proud, man.
Come on.
Let's do this thing.
So they rose early in the morning and they went out to the wilderness of Tekoa and as
they went out, Jehoshaphat stood and said, hear me, O Judah, and all you inhabitants
of Jerusalem.
Now watch.
Believe in the Lord your God and you'll be established.
Believe his prophets and you'll prosper.
Right there.
Come on.
What did he just say?
He said, believe what God said.
Can I talk to somebody?
Believe what God said.
Believe it.
Be firm.
Be established.
Don't waver.
Don't move to the right or to the left.
If God said it, he's gonna bring it to pass.
Can I tell you something?
If God said it, he's gonna bring it to pass.
If you got a word from the Lord, and listen, that word from the Lord might
have been a prophetic word that somebody gave you.
It might have been a word the Lord whispered to you in a prayer closet or it
might be a scripture that you're standing on.
But if you know that it came straight from the throne, own it.
Grab a hold of it and believe God.
Why?
Because the God of breakthrough is moving on your behalf.
Man, I believe this with everything in me.
Something's happening this morning.
I feel it.
When he consulted with the people, he appointed those who should sing to the
Lord and who should praise the beauty of holiness as they went out before the army
and they were saying, praise the Lord.
His mercy endures forever.
That's a good word, forever.
Now when they began to sing and to praise, the Lord sent ambushments against the
people of Ammon, Moab, and Mount Seir who had come against Judah and they were
defeated.
And the people of Ammon and Moab stood up against the inhabitants of Mount Seir to
utterly kill and destroy them.
What?
The enemy turned on themselves.
Right?
Come on.
And they destroyed them.
And then when they made it into the inhabitants of Seir, they helped to
destroy one another.
So when Judah came to the place overlooking the wilderness, they looked
toward the multitude and there were their dead bodies falling on the earth.
No one had escaped.
And when Jehoshaphat and his people came to take away their spoil, they found among
them an abundance of valuables on the dead bodies, precious jewelry which they
stripped off for themselves more than they could carry away that they were three days
gathering the spoil because there was so much.
No, if that don't make you jump, you got a dead battery.
Come on.
Something got to happen.
Who takes their jewelry to the battle?
Come on.
Who takes all their stuff to the battle?
I'll bet God had something to do with that.
I'll bet it was the Holy Ghost setup.
Did you know you might think you're in a battle and you didn't know it,
but you're in the Holy Ghost setup?
The God of the breakthrough is moving on your behalf.
They were three days carrying away the spoil.
And look what they called it.
I want you to see the next verse.
We're going to jump through to the next place.
And on the fourth day, they assembled in the valley of Barakah, for there they
blessed the Lord.
The valley of Barakah, the valley of blessing.
Barakah means blessing.
It's the valley of blessing.
Can I show you something that's powerful?
Before the battle, they praised the Lord, and after the victory, they blessed the
Lord.
Sometimes you got to praise the Lord before you can bless the Lord.
Come on.
Why?
Because you praise in him for the victory you know is coming.
And afterward you bless him for the victory that already came.
I'm here to tell you, whether you're in a season of praising or whether you're in a
season of blessing, you keep your heart posture before God and give him glory for
the life that he's given you.
This is so good.
I'm here to tell you the God of breakthrough is moving on your behalf.
There's so many things that just speak into my heart right now.
God will bless you in your valley.
It's valley of blessing.
God will bless you in your valley.
I don't know if I get through this nonsense.
You've got through a whole bunch worse.
Can I tell you something?
You have survived every hardship you ever had to walk through.
I can tell by the way you're here.
Come on.
You didn't die.
You're going to be all right.
Come on.
Isaiah 40, 31.
Most of you know this verse.
They that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength.
They will mount up with wings.
Oh, come on.
They will mount up with wings as eagles.
Come on.
They'll run and they won't be weary.
They're walking.
They're not going to faint.
That means they're not going to quit.
They're not going to give up.
Listen, even if your run turns into a walk, you keep moving.
I don't care if it turns into a crawl.
Keep moving.
Keep going.
Keep going forward.
Don't stop.
Don't quit.
Don't give up.
Why?
Because eagles wings are coming.
Come on.
But that word, they that wait, that means to wait expectantly.
Why?
Because you know that God is who he said he is and he's going to do.
Come on.
You know that your God's going to show up.
You might have a midnight hour suddenly.
Who's had them?
Come on.
I've had a whole bunch of midnight hours suddenly where it seemed like,
man, I don't know how we're getting out.
And then all of a sudden, boom, something happened.
And God turns the whole thing around.
Come on.
I remember complaining about tomato soup and grilled cheese.
And I learned to be grateful for tomato soup and grilled cheese.
And guess what?
Roast beef showed up.
Beef.
It's what's for dinner.
I don't care.
Take that, Amber.
Never mind.
Some of y'all know that.
She's a pescatarian.
Go to Isaiah 45.
Let me show you.
This is awesome.
I felt like this was a word directly for somebody from the Lord.
Thus says the Lord to his anointed Cyrus, whose right hand I have held.
How many understand God was God was moving on a foreign king.
To subdue nations before him and loose the armor of kings.
Now watch, to open before him the double doors so that the gates will not be shut.
I will go before you and I'm going to make the crooked places straight.
I will break in pieces the gates of...
Oh, somebody there.
I'm going before you to make the crooked places straight.
Come on.
I'm not just opening the door.
I'm opening double doors.
Somebody got some double doors.
Oh, somebody got some double doors that God's opening before the end of this year.
Listen to me.
I know I've heard God that before the calendar year ends your breakthrough is on
the way.
It's not an open door.
It's a double door.
Come on.
It's a...
Oh, crooked places being made straight and God bringing you out in victory.
Man, I feel this.
You might as well get ready.
I just feel like this is a season right now.
Can we talk right now?
Don't be so focused on the problem that you can't find God in the solution.
Don't be so focused on the problem that you can't find your joy.
I've heard people say I'll be happy when this season's over.
You just said you can't be happy now.
Come on, man.
The joy of the Lord is your strength, not the joy of your circumstances.
I feel like there's some double doors that are opening.
There's so many things in my heart right now.
I feel like prophesying, but man, I just see Jesus in the midst of all this.
Can we talk?
Go to Ephesians 3 20 because I need to talk to somebody right now.
Throw that up on the wall because they need to see it.
It's a big deal.
Ephesians 3 20.
Here's what this word says.
Come on.
Now to him who's able.
Oh, come on.
Oh, you need to tell yourself God's able.
Come on.
Can I tell you something?
He's not just able.
He's willing.
See, we don't have a problem with whether or not God's able.
We have a problem with whether or not God's willing.
I felt like the Lord said, tell him I'm willing.
To him who's able to do what?
Exceedingly abundantly.
Like there's abundantly, then there's exceedingly abundantly.
Come on, what?
Above all that we ask or think.
Do I got any big thinkers here in the house?
Come on.
Because my imagination runs wild sometimes.
I got a big imagination, but God's bigger than my imagination.
God's bigger than my thinker.
He's bigger than what I ask heavy, but he's well, sometimes we ask for silver
and God wants to give us gold.
Does anybody hear what I'm saying?
Under him who's able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think.
According to what?
According to the power that works in us.
How many know it's in you?
Come on.
It's already.
What's the power that works inside of you?
I'll tell you what it is.
It's the power of your tongue.
It's the power of you speaking blessing.
It's the power of you speaking life.
It's the power of you making declarations into the atmosphere, changing your home.
Pastor Laurie talked about it.
Laurie, Leah sang about it over and over, all the lyrics.
What were they?
They were declarations of faith over your family, over your home, over your
ministry, over your health, over your finances, over your marriage, over your
children.
Come on.
Somebody God's able to do exceedingly and abundantly above and beyond all that you
might ask or think.
Why?
Because you're on the edge of your breakthrough right now.
Man, I feel this.
Sometimes that Holy Spirit frustration inside of you.
You know what I'm talking about?
Like you just feel grieved internally.
It's not because you're in sin.
It's because you're not in alignment with who God made you to be.
Destiny is beating in your heart.
Whew.
Because you know there's more.
Because you know you're destined for greatness.
Don't settle for mediocrity when you're destined for greatness.
Don't settle for living on get along barely get along street.
God's got so much more.
We got to embrace that more.
I'm going to say some things right now that are challenging, but listen to me.
We've trained ourselves not to get our hopes up.
Because when the breakthrough didn't happen, you felt rejected.
You were never rejected.
According to Ephesians 2, you're accepted into beloved.
You're already accepted.
You're already in.
You get your hopes up and don't be afraid.
Listen to me.
I'm going to say this really strong.
Faith is the substance of things what?
Hope for.
If you don't have hope, what can you attach faith to?
Faith always attaches to hope.
I'm telling you hope happens here.
You're in a place where hope happens.
You're in a place where hope abides.
You're in a place right now that your hopes ought to be like skyrocketing.
God of the breakthroughs moving on your behalf.
I'm confident of it.
Listen to me.
I could start giving you testimonies, but I'm watching God do some pretty cool
stuff.
I want to take us somewhere.
Can I show us something?
Go to Deuteronomy 34 and four.
And I need you to see this.
There's probably the thrust of where I'm at today.
Moses, I'm going to talk to you.
How many of you know Moses didn't have a good start?
He might have started out like a basket case.
His mama had to put him in a basket and put him in the river.
That's not a good day.
That's a nasty river.
That's the Nile.
It's full of piranha and alligators and whatever.
Crocodiles, I guess.
Not alligators.
You know how you can tell an alligator from a crocodile?
Depends on when you see them.
If you see it later, it's an alligator.
But after a while, it's a crocodile.
Take that, Tyler.
I can't let him outdo me.
He's in the Nile and Pharaoh's daughter grabs him.
You guys know the story, and she has a heart change, and she brings him in.
What's he doing?
Spends 40 years in the palace.
And then he sees an Egyptian and a Hebrew striving together outside the window.
He's inside the palace looking outside the window.
And there's an Egyptian and a Hebrew that are striving, fighting with one another.
And I don't know if you realize this, but what was happening is what he saw
externally was the picture of what was going on internally.
Because he was a Hebrew, but he was being raised as an Egyptian.
And he was too Egyptian to be accepted by the Hebrews, but he was too Hebrew to be
accepted by the Egyptians.
And he had an internal struggle.
Am I an Egyptian or am I a Hebrew?
Right?
He goes outside, and what did he do?
He slayed the Egyptian.
What?
He's actually declaring who he really is.
Sometimes you got to just declare who you really are.
Come on.
I'm going to say something.
It sounds hard.
Don't hear it hard, but some of you have been behaving too worldly to feel like
you're a Christian.
But you're too Christian to be accepted by the world, and you can't figure out where
you're at.
It's time to slay the world and live for Christ.
Why?
Because the God of breakthrough is moving on your behalf.
In the midst of that, what happens is now he's got to run and he's 40 years living
in the desert.
How many know?
He's 40 years in the desert, right?
For 40 years, he's in the desert, and you know what happens?
At the end of that 40 years of living in the desert, taking care of Jethro's sheep,
right?
You know what happens?
He comes across a burning bush.
Some of you know this story, the burning bush, right?
How old is he?
Now he's 80 years old, right?
And here's a bush burning.
He has a conversation with God.
I don't have time to talk about it all, but now he begins to start into his real
destiny.
And what is that?
To be a deliverer.
Can I tell you this?
He's a type of Christ.
Do you guys understand when I talk about types and shouts?
He's a type of Christ.
Why?
He's been raised up as a deliverer to take the people of God out of Egypt because
Egypt was a type of sin who were being held by Pharaoh, who was a type of the
devil.
Come on, come on.
And what happens?
He's going to lead them out to a promised land.
Can we talk?
Right?
What's the first thing they do?
Go through the Red Sea.
That's water baptism.
Do you guys see the shadow of what was taking place there?
Moses is being raised up, takes them through all these things and God is
moving.
And here's the deal.
In the midst of all that, for 40 years, he's going to travel into wilderness with
two million church members.
And they're murmuring and complaining a lot.
Let me show you this verse.
Deuteronomy 34, 4.
Then the Lord said to him, they're at the end of this 40 years.
They've been out here for 40 years.
He's been leading this people.
The Lord said to him, this is the land which I swore to give to Abraham,
Isaac and Jacob.
Everybody see it?
Saying, I'm going to give this to your descendants.
I've caused you to see it with your eyes, but you won't cross over there.
Why?
He led them for 40 years through the wilderness, the manna, the quail,
all the things that were happening.
How many know the story?
I mean, there's a whole lot.
All the rebellions, all the things up and down on the mountains being spent.
He spent time with God.
He saw God face to face.
They had to put a veil over him because he was shining because he'd been in the
presence so much, but he can't go into the promised land.
And we read that and we think, why?
Because he smoked the rock.
Come on, you guys know the story.
God tells them, you got to speak to the rock.
Water's going to come forth.
He smites the rock.
And we saw it as punitive.
We saw it as a punishment because you didn't do what God said.
And I thought about how many things he did that was obedient.
If you do 999 obedient and one disobedient, it shouldn't keep you out of
the promise.
But remember to dare under an old covenant, not under a new covenant.
But I'm not so sure that that's the whole story because in my world, I think it's a
prophetic painting.
Can I show you why?
John 1 verse 17.
I want you to see this.
For the law was given through Moses, right?
The law was given through Moses, but grace and truth came through Jesus
Christ.
Moses represented the law, and they're about to go into the promised land.
Moses can't do it.
Oh, I don't know if you just saw that.
Let me take you deeper.
Moses couldn't do it.
Why?
Because the law can't get you into your promised land.
Come on, the promised land was a land of rest.
The law can't get you into the land of rest.
The law can't get you into your promise fulfilled.
The law can't do it, right?
When Moses couldn't do it, right?
Who did God pick to lead them in?
One man.
What was his name?
Can I tell you what his name was?
Joshua.
But in Hebrew, it's Yeshua.
Oh, I don't know if you got this or not.
What happened?
God picked a man who would have the same name as Jesus.
Yeshua.
Come on, that's the Hebrew name for Jesus.
And it was also the Hebrew name for Joshua.
What happened?
He leads them into the promised land.
Whew.
Why?
Because the law can't get you into your promise.
Only Jesus can.
What am I trying to say?
Your breakthrough is not going to happen because you perform better.
Your breakthrough is not going to happen because you did it everything right.
Your breakthrough is not going to happen because you did all the stuff that you
were supposed to do and met all the requirements and checked all the boxes.
That's not why your breakthrough is going to come.
Your breakthrough is going to come because you trust in the one.
Come on, the only one that can get you through and that's Jesus.
We sang his name a little while.
Come on, Jesus, Jesus.
Come on, you make the mountains tremble.
Come on, that's Jesus.
And the only way that you're going to get into a breakthrough is to rest in the
promise of Jesus, the promise of God, the word of the Lord.
The only way you're going to step into your breakthrough is to actually believe
on the Lord.
Come on, and you'll be established and believe as prophets and you're going to
prosper.
But we got to believe.
It's not about how many scriptures you quote.
It's the ones you live.
It's what you're believing.
It's what you're walking out.
It's what you're embracing with your life.
Moses didn't go into the promised land.
I think it was a prophetic picture that the law can't get you to your promise.
Only Jesus can.
Come on, that's really good in case you were wondering.
There's a place of just grabbing a hold of that man and believing.
It's not about your performance.
He's already performed.
It's not about you checking the boxes.
All of his boxes were checked.
We're just going to be in Christ.
It's about just trusting that he is who he says he is and he's going to do what he
said he'd do.
Quit striving, quit trying to perform to get your breakthrough.
Maybe we just got to rest in grace.
What if I just believed that he loves me, that he's for me, that there's nothing
that he's holding back?
Can I say this?
The hindrance to our blessing is never on his part.
We just got to believe.
We got to trust him.
Whoo, the healing.
I'm going to go here.
All the stuff that the devil's been trying to throw at you.
We got to fix some of our language in the body of Christ.
Who remembers this song?
Blessed be the name of the Lord.
Come on, cool song, right?
Bad lyrics.
Why?
Because it says he gives and takes away.
He gives and takes away.
But my heart will stay the same.
Can I say this?
He gives and takes away was the perspective of Job who didn't understand
God.
But if you read Job chapter 1, God didn't take away, the devil did.
Can I tell you something?
God doesn't give and take away.
I guess the only thing he takes away, he took away my sin.
Come on, he took away sickness.
He took away disease.
He took away pain.
That would be the takeaway.
But sometimes what we do is we allow ourself to form God in our image rather
than us in his image.
Because the way we think, sometimes we see God through the lens of if I'm doing good,
he's for me.
But if I'm not doing good, he's not for me.
If we were honest, then you don't need to raise your hand because I think we all
would.
Who's ever felt like you disappointed God?
But I got to tell you something.
I was praying about that a couple months ago and I heard the Lord say this,
it's impossible to disappoint me.
And I thought, okay, why?
Because disappointment always carries with it an element of surprise.
I expected Tyler to do this and he didn't do it.
I'm surprised that he wouldn't, right?
That I would be disappointed.
Anybody understand what I just said?
Why was I disappointed?
Because I thought something was going to happen that didn't.
How many know if you're an omniscient God, you can't be disappointed because you
can't be surprised?
Do you understand what I just said?
That's really good actually because disappointment always carries with it an
element of surprise.
But the devil will get on your shoulder and tell you how messed up you are and how
bad you are and how you disappointed God and now God's not happy with you and the
next thing you know, we start to believe those lies.
Why would God break through for me?
I can't even do this right.
I'm going to give you a word.
God won't heal you because you're good.
And God will not withhold healing from you because you're bad.
God will heal you because he's good.
And you need to hear that loud and clear.
God will break through for you because he's good.
How many know David messed up a lot?
All right, if you study the life of Saul and the life of David, actually Saul had a
better lived life than David but David had more ability to repent and Saul just
wanted to blame everybody.
And that's true, you can study it.
But David's repentant heart before God says now there's a man after my own heart.
Come on, did he say that?
God called David a man after his own heart.
He has adultery with Bathsheba.
He kills Uriah.
He numbers the people when God said don't do it.
Come on, I can go down a list.
He was a terrible father.
Do you guys know this?
Come on.
All of his kids were messed up.
Well, not all of them, but a whole bunch of them.
And God looks at him and says, man, I love you.
Do you understand how much God loves you?
The God of the breakthrough is moving on your behalf.
Here's what I'm gonna encourage you with.
Go to this last verse.
I got some things to say but I wanna go here.
Proverbs 21, 31.
This is powerful to me, right?
Proverbs 21 and 31.
The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but deliverance is of the Lord.
Leave it up there for a minute because I want you to see this.
The horse is prepared for the day of battle, but deliverance is of the Lord.
What's that mean?
I believe what that means is you do everything you can to position yourself
for the breakthrough.
But let me tell you, the victory's God's.
I wanna say some things right now.
It's not about you striving or trying or whatever, but it is partnering.
How many of you know we're co-laborers together with him?
Do you know what co-laborer means?
That means you don't just sit back and do nothing, right?
You prepare your heart.
You prepare yourself.
You position yourself for the things that God's doing.
You follow in obedience, the things that God's asked of you or required of you.
You position yourself and what'll happen?
Deliverance will come from the Lord.
But you've gotta prepare yourself for the day of battle.
Does everybody understand when I say that?
How many of you know you're in a battle?
On the day you said yes to God, you joined the army.
I go into Lowe's.
I want my military discount.
Never mind.
The horse is prepared for the day of battle.
What's it saying?
You do what you need to do.
You make sure that you're doing your part, but then you trust God.
Why?
That deliverance is coming.
I'm telling you, the God of the breakthrough is moving on your behalf.
Some of you need to hear what I'm saying.
The God of your breakthrough.
Not the God of just the breakthrough, the God of your breakthrough.
Where do you need a breakthrough?
Do you need a breakthrough in your healing?
Do you need a breakthrough in your marriage?
Do you need a breakthrough in your finances?
Do you need a break?
Where do you need a breakthrough?
Because I'm here to tell you God's faithful.
All I can tell you is he's faithful.
And he wants to move on your behalf.
Stand with me.
I could preach a lot longer, but I feel like we're at a moment right now where God
just, I feel like it's time.
Jacoys gonna play something really spiritual and you're gonna get blessed.
I need to do this.
If you're part of the prayer team, meet me up here.
I know we prayed, we ministered to one another, but I really feel like it's
breakthrough time right now.
It's breakthrough time.
It's breakthrough time right now.
If you're licensed through HCMI, join us because God's moving.
I feel this really strong.
It's just time.
I feel like Jesus is in the room right here, but God's moving and he's moving on
your behalf.
There's just some things that are on my heart.
I know I heard the Lord.
Can I tell you what I heard from the Lord?
God's restoring what life tried to steal from you.
God's restoring what life tried to steal from you.
Can I talk to somebody?
You didn't lose time.
He's redeeming time.
I'm gonna say that again.
You didn't lose time.
He's redeeming that time.
The God of redeeming is in the room right now.
Come on, can I talk to somebody?
The tears you cried are watering your next harvest.
The tears you cried are watering your next harvest.
God is on the move right now.
I'm here to tell you it's happening.
It's in the room right now.
It's a season of divine recovery.
Don't mourn what was lost, but celebrate what's coming.
Oh, that's a word for somebody right now.
Don't mourn what was lost.
You celebrate what's coming.
God, you're on the move.
I don't know, man.
It's thick up here.
I just feel Jesus in a major way right now.
I don't know what you need, but there's a God that's able to supply.
He's able to do exceedingly and abundantly above and beyond all that you might ask or
think.
God of the breakthrough is in the house right now.
What do you need from heaven?
What do you need God to do on your behalf?
If Jesus was to show up, can I talk to somebody right now?
He's on the road from Jericho to Jerusalem.
Does anybody know what I'm talking about?
And he meets a guy named Bartimaeus.
Bartimaeus is a blind beggar.
How many know he's blind?
If he's a blind beggar, that means he's wearing a special garment that says,
I'm blind.
And you know what Jesus did?
He had the audacity to say, what do you want?
It's pretty obvious he's blind.
He can't see.
He's trying to feel his way.
He's wearing a blind beggar's garment.
And Jesus said, what would you that I should do for you?
Bartimaeus said, Lord, that I might receive my sight.
Why would you even ask such a question?
It's obvious.
Why?
Because God wants us to ask of him.
God wants us to seek him.
God wants us to make our requests known.
If he was to stand before you right now and say, what do you need?
What do you want?
Where's your breakthrough?
What's the breakthrough you're after?
I know many of you came forward for prayer during the worship time and the ministry
time.
And I know God was moving, but I'm here to tell you, God's on the move right now.
And if you're in this place right now, you need a healing.
You need victory.
You need finances.
You need a breakthrough in your marriage.
You need an emotional healing.
Maybe you're having night terrors.
Maybe you're having fear, anxiety, depression.
I want you to know, all that's been crossed by the blood of Jesus already.
All I can do is say, man, if you're hungry, come on.
Because why?
Because the waters are troubled.
And I'm here to tell you, it's not just the first one.
It's whoever gets in.
Why?
Because if Bethesda was an angel that troubled the water, but how many know
Jesus is our Bethesda?
And that means everybody's invited.
And everybody gets in the pool.
And everybody can get.
And whoever came was healed of whatsoever they need.
I'm here to tell you, that's the God that I serve.
The God of breakthrough is moving on your behalf.
If you need a breakthrough, if you need a victory, if you need something in your
life, come.
There's a whole bunch of people right now that are just ready to pray with you.
I invite you, come on.
Come on.
We're just going to believe God in the room right now.
Who's ready to believe him?
Who's ready to grab hands and say, come on.
We can agree together.
We're going to touch heaven.
Heaven's going to change earth.
And we're not going to leave here the same we came.
Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus.
Man, I feel it.
Come on.
There's still more.
There's still more.
Come on.
God's faithful.
God's able.
He's in the room.
I'm just ready to believe God right now.
I'm ready to believe God.
Come on.
If you want to make your way, there's still room.
There's still room on the end.
God's got people that are ready to believe him.
If you're ready to believe God, it's time to believe God together.
In the midst of that, if not, grab hands with somebody.
I'm going to pray over the rest of you.
Grab hands with somebody.
Why?
Because when we join together, there's something about union.
There's something about coming together in unity.
There's something about just believing God together.
Father, in Jesus' name, I declare your grace.
I declare your goodness.
I declare victory and healing in Jesus' name.
I declare that the God of breakthrough is breaking through on our behalf.
I speak grace and peace.
It's being multiplied right now.
God, I declare victory through the blood of the lamb.
I declare that Jesus is king.
Jesus is king.
Jesus is king over every circumstance, over every situation.
God, we declare the victory of heaven right now.
You've already paid the price.
We are stepping into the yes and the amen of heaven, and we're ready to believe God
together.
So, Father, we declare goodness.
We declare grace.
We declare peace.
We declare mercy.
We declare victory through the blood that shed for our permission.
The remission of our sin, the remission of our sickness.
God, we declare grace and peace in Jesus' name.
And the church shouted amen and amen.
Bless the name of the Lord.
Bless the name of the Lord.
Bless the name of the Lord.
Thanks for being with us.
If you want prayer to come, you can come.
Those that are praying, stay and get prayer.
Stay and get as long as you want.
I invite you to come and be a part of what God's doing right now.
I just know this.
People are gonna leave here different than they came.
In Jesus' name.
Thank you, God.
Thank you, God.
